Today, we have been learning about Stem and Leaf graph. After working with our teacher we created a stem and leaf graph. Here s an example of what we did.
Hi my name is Tehamua. I’m a year 6 at Paihia School. I am going to talk about your maths. I really don’t do that much maths. My mum and dad sometimes give me some. I get them most the time but not all the time. I am pretty good at maths but I'm not the best.
Something positive: I really like that you put a lot of effort in the leaf graph.
Kia ora Avania my name is Mahana, I am a year seven student at Paihia School. I really liked your blog post about math statistics because I think that you took time and effort to make your steam & leaf graph which looks really nice. I have also learnt about statistics before but I am know relearning it to refresh my memory.
My Writing: Hi Avania, my name is Anika and I am a year six learner at Paihia School. I really liked your post about Statistics in maths because it was very interesting to read. I also really liked your post because I think you would of spent a big amount of time and effort to make your stem/leaf graph.
Have you ever made a blog post about a different graph?
Hi Avania my name is Ana I’m a year 8 student from Paihia School. I like your post about maths - statistics I think it was really hard for you to do something like this. You are really lucky that you can do this work by yourself because I can not do something like this myself. Avania I enjoyed reading your blog post because it was really easy for me to read it. How long Have you done this?
Kia Ora Avania, This graph really gave me a lot of information about stem and leaf graph. My class has also learned the same thing. Maybe next time you could add a little more writing to help others under stand what this graph means. Anyway blog you later!!
Kia Ora Avania , my name is Jorjah and I am a year 8 student from Paihia School. I like your blog post about statistics because when you added your chart I could actually see what you were learning. We have been doing statistics to and it was good because we were doing a science fair a we needed to know how to graph our end data. What else do you think you could use graphs for?
Kia ora Avania, my name is Jade and I am a year 7 student form Paihia School. I really like your blog post about Maths - Statistics because you have showed me something new and that made me realized that I really like math but I sometime find it really hard to understand. I also think that your blog post was amazing and so helpful to me because we were learning about statistics and it was a little hard. Did you find anything hard or easy when you were learning statistics?
